Det här är nog min favorit av alla engelska poesiböcker jag läst på sista tiden. Jag har följt Nikita Gill på Instagram ett bra tag och visste redan innan jag köpte boken att jag skulle tycka om den.

Den är inte indelad i olika delar utan dikterna följer varann bara på nya sidor. Vissa som jag läst tidigare har ju delat in boken i kärlek, sorg och läkande som exempel. Men här flyter det bara på. Gills dikter är starka, de handlar om kärlek till sig själv, förmågan att hitta sin egen styrka, inte behöva andras bekräftelse utan inse att man duger så jäkla bra som man är. Det finns också de om att läka, gå vidare efter destruktiva förhållanden och bygga upp sig själv på nytt.

Min bok är full med lappar som sticker ut från den nu. Jag har markerat många sidor med dikter jag fastnat lite extra mycket för. Egentligen hade hela boken kunnat vara ett enda stort märke men jag fick ju hejda mig lite.
