Jag gillar verkligen böckerna i den här serien. Jag gillar skrivsättet och karaktärerna. Men det här är nog den jag fastnat minst för. Den är inte dålig men den når inte riktigt upp till samma nivå som ettan och tvåan. 

Kanske är det för att det handlar om ett annat café och det tar lite tid innan jag lyckas reda ut vilka alla är? Jag vet faktiskt inte. De olika berättelserna berör ändå och det går ganska fort att läsa ut den. När jag väl sitter med den i händerna vill jag inte släppa taget, jag behöver få veta hur karaktärernas historier ska sluta. Jag uppskattar att det inte alltid är happily ever after, ibland blir det sorgligt.

Nu har jag en bok kvar att läsa, jag ska försöka ta mig an den redan i januari.

Det här är andra delen i Before the Coffee Gets Cold-serien. Vi får möta några karaktärer som känns igen från förra boken och några helt nya. Jag tror faktiskt jag gillar den ännu mer än första, kanske för att det känns bekant och hemtrevligt i caféet nu.

Jag blir berörd och sitter med tårar i ögonen ibland. Speciellt när vi får veta mer om den underliga kvinnan som alltid sitter och läser en bok på platsen som gör att man kan resa tillbaka i tiden. Och sista berättelsen om poliskommissarien som vill ge sin fru en födelsedagspresent. Det är två favoritdelar från boken.

Jag ser fram emot att läsa del tre, förhoppningsvis senare i vår eller under sommaren!

In Before the Coffee Gets Cold, we meet four visitors, each of whom is hoping to make use of the cafe's time-travelling offer, in order to: confront the man who left them, receive a letter from their husband whose memory has been taken by early onset Alzheimer's, see their sister one last time, and meet the daughter they never got the chance to know. But the journey into the past does not come without risks: customers must sit in a particular seat, they cannot leave the cafe, and finally, they must return to the present before the coffee gets cold..."

Jag tycker verkligen om den här boken! 

Det är en finstämd, lågmäld och samtidigt väldigt känslosam berättelse. Jag sitter med tårarna rinnande vid några tillfällen. Karaktärernas liv och deras skäl för att vilja resa i tiden är så berörande och jag känner verkligen med dem. 

Boken innehåller fyra berättelser, men de hålls samtidigt ihop av en ram och man lär känna de olika personligheterna riktigt väl genom alla delar. Ska jag välja en favorit tror jag det är den sista, men alla är otroligt fina. 

Det finns två böcker till i samma serie och jag ser fram emot att läsa dem också.
